Pets + People is seeking a Director of Procurement in New York for a hybrid role, three days in the office. You will lead global production, drive automation, optimize supplier performance, and develop a high-performing team to scale operations for domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in production/CPG, strong vendor management, and bilingual Chinese/English abilities. Hybrid work, salary $150,000–$165,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in production/manufacturing/operations.
• Experience managing domestic and international production operations.
• Experience leading teams of 5–10; coaching and developing talent.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global production leadership & strategy across domestic and international operations.
• Drive innovation, automation, and system enhancements to improve speed and visibility.
• Manage vendor/external partner relationships with performance metrics and optimization.
