Job summary

Pets + People in New York is seeking a Sourcing Manager to drive sourcing strategies and initiatives, collaborating with the Director of Sourcing and another Sourcing Manager to hit financial goals and streamline processes.

You will manage vendor relationships, analyze data for informed decisions, support new product launches, and oversee timelines, costings, and supplier scorecards in a hybrid 3-day-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of working experience.
• Experience in Sourcing, Product Management or Operations in a Consumer Products wholesale/import environment.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong data analytics and reporting.

About the Role

The Sourcing Manager role will work closely with the Director of Sourcing to execute sourcing strategies and key initiatives to help achieve financial goals, while collaborating closely with the team’s other Sourcing Manager. The Sourcing Manager will provide a key assist to the Director of Sourcing in creating SOP’s, efficiencies and consistencies within the sourcing team while streamlining data and workflow related to development of new vendor and COO initiatives. A key success factor in this role will be the ability to manage multiple sourcing activities and provide on-time deliverables.

Hybrid Work

We’re a hybrid office culture, in office 3 days a week with flexibility to work from home the rest. We value the connection and collaboration that in-person work brings, while giving our team room to work in the way that’s most effective for them.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location.
