Job summary

Balanced Body, the world’s leading Pilates equipment designer and manufacturer, seeks a senior planning leader to own end-to-end SIOP, materials availability, and master scheduling. The role coordinates with an overseas manufacturing partner and supports European logistics as the business grows.

You’ll build disciplined processes, drive on-time delivery, and coach a small planning team across time zones, ensuring schedules reflect true capacity and material constraints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in production planning/master scheduling and materials/purchasing control in discrete or mixed-mode manufacturing, including a lead/manager role.

Responsibilities

• Own the SIOP cycle: establish and run a monthly Sales & Operations Planning process translating demand into a production schedule.
• Lead master scheduling and production planning: direct the Master Scheduler and Planners to reflect capacity and material constraints.
• Own materials and shortage recovery: take ownership of at-risk orders with a documented plan within 24 hours.
• Burn down past-due purchase orders: establish ownership and weekly metrics for past-due POs.
• Coordinate contract manufacturing: primary contact for output, quality, and schedule adherence with overseas partner.
• Support international logistics growth: collaborate with European 3PL and e-commerce teams to scale planning and materials processes.
• Coach and develop the planning team: mentor and raise the standard of the team.
• Document scheduling logic: systematize planning knowledge into a formal process.
• Own KPIs: define and report on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and stockout trends.
