Job summary
Balanced Body, the world's largest designer and manufacturer of Pilates equipment, seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager for our Sacramento, CA site. You will lead a five-person purchasing team, oversee material handling and shipping, and own core procurement processes.
You will develop purchasing strategies, optimize supplier performance, and coordinate with internal teams to meet delivery targets. A strong leader with 10+ years in supply chain and ERP/MRP proficiency is essential, on-site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ years of supply chain experience; 5+ years managerial experience in manufacturing.
- On-site in Sacramento, CA, five days a week; no hybrid or remote.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and BOMs.
Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain strategies for cost reduction, on-time delivery, and supplier lead times.
- Implement lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S).
- Develop alternate replenishment methods (consignment, kanban, VMI) to improve turns.
- Oversee site procurement, receiving, stockroom and shipping teams and data integrity.
- Coordinate supplier communications and corrective actions; ensure 100% on-time delivery.
