Job summary

Oetiker Group in Marlette, MI is hiring a Production Planning & Control Analyst to develop and execute production plans for press operations, ensuring customer demand is met on time. You will manage inventories with data‑driven planning and collaborate across functions to maintain efficient flow and capacity utilization.

This role integrates demand and supply planning through S&OP, requires ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and SAP.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Production Scheduling (MPS) and capacity planning.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organization and time management.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand.
Coordinate schedule execution with cross-functional teams.
Create capacity requirements and level load production.
Adjust plans to mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery.
Analyze capacity constraints and propose improvements.
Plan labor hours and machine capacity.
Set min/max inventory levels and monitor stock.
Develop KPIs and provide regular reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
