Job summary

Oetiker, Inc. is seeking a senior operations leader in Michigan to oversee production, quality and logistics, driving continuous improvement and world-class performance. You will ensure safety, cost control, and regulatory compliance while leading cross-functional teams to meet KPI targets.

The role requires a strong background in automotive manufacturing, IATF 16949, and TPM/Lean/Six Sigma, with excellent leadership and communication skills to guide multi-disciplinary groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive leadership experience in automotive with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TISAX.
• Proven track record managing high-volume production with a diverse product mix.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma or TPM.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first, zero-defect mindset meeting quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TISAX).
• Oversee production, quality and logistics to meet KPIs and customer demands while controlled costs.
• Drive continuous improvement and world-class operations initiatives.
• Uphold safety, quality and cost-management across all operations.
• Ensure ESG and governmental compliance for the entity.
• Represent the company externally and guide entity-level matters.
• Lead Business Review Meetings and quarterly reviews for all employees.
• Support HR in labor relations and related areas.
• Uphold Oetiker values and facilitate cross-functional issue resolution.
