Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own product safety risk assessments and high-judgment policy decisions that meet worldwide regulatory obligations and strengthen customer safety.
• Monitor and analyze emerging electrical and electronic regulations, new technologies, and safety testing standards to identify and mitigate global customer safety risks.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify risk indicators that inform and support policy decisions.
• Coordinate with Legal teams to integrate legal and safety analysis into key policy decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate Amazon’s safety and compliance strategies to stakeholders.
• Draft and present strategies to enhance risk management practices, including benchmarking against industry standards.
• Communicate regularly with leadership, ensuring consistent reporting against commitments.
