Job summary
KION Group in Grand Rapids, MI, invites a Product Quality Engineer to ensure quality is built into global product-development projects from concept to launch and sustained production. You will collaborate across PM, R&D, Manufacturing, Validation, and Quality teams to identify risks, define acceptance criteria, and validate readiness for tollgate decisions.

Qualifications
- Minimum five years of professional Quality experience in a product-, project-, or engineering-based role.
- Experience with automated material handling or mechatronic products is preferred.
- Strong analytical capability and evidence-supported decision making.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Product Quality representative and sub-project lead for global programs.
- Define and monitor Product Quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Lead DFMEA/PFMEA risk activities and mitigation actions.
- Perform pre-milestone and launch-readiness assessments and support Tollgate decisions.
- Coordinate launch and manufacturing-readiness with R&D, Manufacturing Quality, and Validation.
- Support CAPA/8D actions and drive root-cause analysis.
- Transmit lessons learned into new R&D programs and continuous improvement.
