Job summary

Pearson is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager for Higher Education to lead end-to-end programs spanning product, engineering, UX, and content. You will coordinate quarterly OKRs and drive delivery across globally distributed teams.

You will maintain program charters, govern plans, and ensure documentation reflects current state, with clear decisions and accountable follow-through.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program or technical program management experience in technology, product, or software.
• Experience owning program roadmaps, delivery schedules, and cross-team dependencies.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority and manage escalations.
• Strong written communication and facilitation; pre-reads and updates are read.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end program plan across product, engineering, UX, content, and go-to-market.
• Own prioritization tradeoffs with Product and Engineering leads.
• Drive delivery schedules and launch readiness across multiple teams.
• Surface dependency risk early with recommendations attached.
• Build relationships with Engineering, Product, UX, Content, Finance, and go-to-market partners.
