Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science from an accredited institution.
• Two years of experience with manufacturing technologies like extrusion and molding.
• Master’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline or physical science; experience with adhesives and tape backings is a plus.
• Experience with developing material standards and specifications and familiarity with PLM systems and Six Sigma is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Exploration and sustaining of technologies, processes, and approaches to support accelerated business growth and quality.
• Interfacing with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery.
• Leading technical interactions with corporate and division labs, manufacturing plants, and other groups.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities to validate processes and improve product performance.
• Contributing to change management related to product and process changes; implement improvements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems and apply new processes.
• Multitasking and prioritizing multiple projects as needed.
• Reviewing IP positions at the business level when applicable.
• Interfacing with suppliers on production and product changes.
