Job summary

Harvard Bioscience in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an energetic Project Manager to lead new product development with responsibility to ensure on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery. The role requires travel to Asia and fluency in Mandarin.

Reporting to the VP of Research and Development, you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams to build hardware and systems ecosystems while applying best practices to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management and related experience.
Experience in engineering or product development environment.
Ability to manage complex hardware and systems projects.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or a technical field.
PMP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Define project scope and objectives.
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
Track project costs to meet budget.
Report project status to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress.
Utilize industry best practices, methodologies, and standards throughout project execution.
Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
