Job summary

Harvard Bioscience is seeking a Project Manager to plan and execute new product development initiatives in Minneapolis, MN, with global travel to Asia. The role reports to the VP of Research and Development and requires strong cross-functional coordination across hardware and systems development.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in engineering or product development, fluency in English and Mandarin, and a PMP or similar certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Experience in engineering or product development.
• Ability to manage complex hardware and ecosystems of systems.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a technical field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• PMI PMP or similar certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Track project costs to meet budget.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Report project status on a consistent basis to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Measure and report project performance to identify areas for improvement.
