Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Florence, SC is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-location, cross-functional teams from concept through production and field deployment. You will manage cost, schedule, quality, and requirements with sales, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and field operations.

The role emphasizes structured stage-gate and agile development, stakeholder communication, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required / BS in engineering preferred
• 5+ years of project management experience required
• Experience leading hands-on project teams from concept to deployment
• Multifunctional, global teams experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Project, Word, Excel) required
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering teams to ensure prototype and production drawings readiness
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to share drawings and engage engineers with suppliers
• Ensure prototype parts delivery according to plan and track with suppliers/factory
• Coordinate prototype installation and manage turnbacks from tests
• Ensure production drawings are on schedule and update changes as needed
• Manage stakeholders, scope, cost, risks, and interdependencies with Program Manager/Director
• Plan, track, and communicate project milestones and expenditures
• Facilitate team meetings and drive deliverables and timelines
• Support program reviews and executive communications
• Support process improvements within the PM team
