Merck & Co. Rahway, NJ, invites a Tech Solutions Product Compliance & Sustainability Global Lead to drive the global product compliance strategy across electronic and non-electronic products.

You will unite design, development, manufacturing, and post-market activities into a scalable, auditable framework. Responsibilities include establishing governance, proactive risk-based oversight, collaborating with R&D, Legal, and Supply Chain, and guiding software and AI compliance across the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Software) or related technical discipline.
• Master's degree (MS) in Regulatory Affairs, Engineering Management, or MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of senior experience leading global Product/Environmental Compliance or Regulatory Affairs.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead a global Product Compliance strategy aligned with business objectives and risk profile.
• Establish governance with clear scope, decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability.
• Transition the organization to a proactive, risk-based compliance model.
• Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on regulatory risk, market access, and product compliance strategy.
• Lead international network of Compliance and Sustainability organizations and influence without direct authority.
• Collaborate with R&D, Legal, Policy & Communications, EHS, and other functions for strategic alignment.
