Job summary

Ruggable, a Los Angeles‑based direct‑to‑consumer home goods leader, seeks a seasoned head of global direct procurement to drive S&OP ownership and vendor management across regions. You will lead a team responsible for core supplier relationships, raw material planning, and cost optimization while guiding strategic digital upgrades.

You will partner with commercial and manufacturing teams to align on inventory strategies, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct supply planning and procurement experience.
• 5+ years of vendor management, including contract negotiations and performance reviews.
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite or SAP.
• Experience with MRP software.
• Experience working with suppliers in Asia/India.
• Experience S&OP in a multi‑channel global organization.

Responsibilities

• Own S&OP for seasonal demand plans and inventory strategies with cross‑functional partners.
• Manage core raw material vendors and negotiate pricing; monitor vendor performance.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives without impacting quality or availability of materials.
• Lead digital procurement and supply planning upgrades for real‑time inventory visibility.
• Mentor procurement and supply planning teams across regions; drive continuous improvement.
• Enable business transformation with direct collaboration with sourcing, product development, and commercial teams.
