Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Manager for Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) in Tempe, AZ. You will lead a team of Supply Chain Specialists, oversee the flow of consumables from suppliers to Amazon locations, and drive improvements across the indirect supply chain.

Relocation to Tempe and on-site presence are required. The role involves optimizing supplier performance, managing KPIs, and partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver cost savings and site launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, engineering, business management or related field.
• Experience in Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, or Shipping Supplies.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience in labor planning, managing and coaching employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Supply Chain Specialists in an office environment; train and develop team members.
• Design and secure the flow of consumables from suppliers to Amazon locations; troubleshoot escalations from site operations teams.
• Continuously evaluate supplier performance and engage with suppliers to minimize defects.
• Manage supplier and internal KPIs to measure, control and benchmark indirect supply chain processes.
• Improve communication between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and GPCS leadership.
• Identify and implement savings and efficiency projects with stakeholders.
• Support new site launches for all GPCS services.
• Resolve, document, and root cause indirect supply chain issues across the network.
