Job summary

Springs Window Fashions in Wisconsin is seeking a Global Procurement Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 to join our Procurement Team and work on impactful projects across supplier performance, risk benchmarking, and procurement intelligence. This paid internship offers cross-functional collaboration, hands-on project work, job shadowing, and professional development opportunities.

You will help expand data models, generate insights, and participate in pilot rollouts with strategic suppliers

Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in relevant function.
• Pursuing a 4-year degree with Sophomore/Junior standing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel/analytics for certain roles.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication (verbal, written) and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supplier risk benchmarking and scorecard alignment.
• Benchmark suppliers and establish rankings.
• Identify supplier risk through trends and benchmarking.
• Standardize supplier reviews with monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Pilot and roll out supplier initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Valora 2.0 data model expansion and AI insights.
• Pilot and scale procurement use cases and adoption.

Internship Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Procurement Team! The Procurement Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects And Responsibilities

• Supplier Performance Benchmarking and Risk Intelligence
  • Move from scoring individual suppliers to managing, comparing, and proactively identifying supplier risk
  • Scale the scorecard to essentially improve data quality
  • Benchmark suppliers - compare performance and establish rankings
  • Identify supplier risk - combine trends, benchmarking to highlight high risk suppliers
  • Standardize supplier reviews - create monthly/quarterly reviews
  • Pilot & Roll out - test with selected commodities and strategic suppliers, gather feedback, integrate into a broader rollout plan
• Valora 2.0 - Procurement Intelligence Assistant
  • Move to generating actionable procurement insights by assisting in activities to:
  • Expand the data model
  • Advance AI insights
  • Strengthen Procurement use cases
  • Productionize Valora
  • Pilot & Scale Adoption
