Lummus Technology is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for engineered equipment, materials, and services in a hybrid Bloomfield, NJ setting. You will issue inquiries, evaluate bids, and issue purchase orders while coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

The role emphasizes documentation accuracy, cross-functional communication, and adherence to procurement procedures, with travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain management is required.
• Basic understanding of the procurement process; internship experience in procurement or engineering is a plus.
• Engineering background preferred to support procurement of engineered equipment/materials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Manager Procurement to select potential sellers and form a bidder list.
• Negotiate with potential sellers; conduct meetings and negotiations under supervision.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; coordinate technical evaluations with engineers.
• Monitor requisition packages, bids, and supplier performance; maintain records.
• Ensure complete purchase order documents: scope, pricing, delivery terms, warranties, signatures.
