Job summary

Charles River is seeking a Senior Analyst in Global Procurement COE to build, analyze, and maintain supplier spend and market data for global procurement strategies. You will influence technology roadmaps and support people, processes, and systems across Operations, Category, and Systems. This role is remote from a home office.

You will drive performance through data, develop KPIs, and support RFP analyses and spend analytics while collaborating with category managers and stakeholders globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of data analytics, financial analysis, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• CPM or CPSM desirable; data certifications are a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day procurement technology/systems with high adoption, UX, and fit-for-purpose design.
• Maintain existing modules and roll out new modules across procurement technology.
• Ensure system uptime and conduct root cause analyses for issues.
• Lead data requests across procurement, finance, and the business; support category strategies.
• Develop metrics and scorecards to measure supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Track and report department performance and compliance metrics to diverse audiences.
• Define data management standards for consistent business analysis and metrics.
• Engage external data subscriptions and providers for market intelligence.
