Job summary

Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce and cloud services, seeks a Category Manager to own and strategically source goods and services worldwide across Worldwide Operations (WWOps) on behalf of the Global Procurement Organization (GPO).

Lead category strategy, negotiate with suppliers, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive savings, risk mitigation, and productivity while modernizing the procurement process with AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required).
• Advanced Excel with Pivot Tables and VLookup; SQL knowledge.
• Experience defining and implementing data-driven process improvements.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders at varied levels.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
• Experience with program management across planning, execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Establish global category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize cost and value.
• Identify, achieve, and report savings targets across activities.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and procurement operations as the global category expert.
• Drive AI and automation to modernize procurement processes.
