Amazon's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) seeks an experienced Category Manager to lead global sourcing for IT/Tech Hardware and services. You will drive category strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance across a multi-regional footprint.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder influence, and the ability to deliver cost savings while ensuring supply chain resilience for worldwide operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing and category management experience in indirect spend.
• Experience managing spend of at least $75 million.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year global category strategies for IT hardware and services.
• Lead competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFQs/auctions) and negotiate terms.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with regular reviews and KPIs.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, and business units globally.
• Analyze spend data to identify savings, consolidation, and demand levers.
• Monitor market trends to inform strategy and risk mitigation.
• Ensure contract compliance and drive process improvements across P2P.
