Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing across multiple categories within the Global Procurement Organization (GPO).

You will develop category strategies, drive cost savings, and partner with teams and suppliers to deliver measurable value in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in supply chain and program management, strong data-driven decision making, and the ability to communicate results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional sourcing teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize cost and position.
• Manage category suppliers to identify and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider for categories and inform stakeholders.
• Drive supplier relationships to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify and report on savings and value targets for category activities.
• Align with internal customers on the business application of the category.
