Job summary

INNIO Group in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to transfer Jenbacher assembly processes from Jenbach to the new Waukesha plant. You will localize standards, validate processes, and ensure readiness for production of Jenbach engine products.

You will collaborate with global teams, oversee first‑run trials, training, and reporting for stakeholders, while guiding tooling, layout, and workflow improvements to maintain process intent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with assembly and/or machining of heavy industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement Jenbacher assembly processes into the new Waukesha production plant.
• Localize global process standards, work instructions, PFMEAs, and routings to fit Waukesha equipment and workforce.
• Support installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of production equipment.
• Conduct first-run trials, capability checks, and process validation to meet global standards.
• Troubleshoot ramp-up issues and collaborate with Jenbach-site experts as needed.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Maintenance, and vendors to ensure tooling and fixtures meet process expectations.
• Analyze workflows to improve efficiency, ergonomics, and material flow.
• Provide operator and maintenance training using global documentation.
• Prepare process readiness reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Communicate status and risks across global and local teams.
