Job summary

INNIO Group in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Operations Leader – Machining to launch and lead a new Jenbacher machining operation in Waukesha. You will build the organization around Makino horizontal and 5-axis centers, Waldrich Coburg mills, FANUC robotics, and automation.

You will guide CNC programmers, machinists, and production staff, developing people, processes, and operating discipline to scale the operation and transfer knowledge from Jenbach, Austria, ensuring safety, quality, and

Qualifications

5+ years leading manufacturing teams in CNC/machining settings.
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience with high-precision, large-part machining desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead machining organization with focus on safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.
Set production priorities and coordinate staffing, tooling, programming, and materials.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Planning to resolve issues.
Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new machining equipment and automated cells.
Drive improvements in machine utilization, cycle time, quality, scrap, tool life, uptime.
Establish daily management, visual controls, standard work, 5S, and continuous improvement.
