Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a Manager, Business Performance Management to lead process improvement, IT investment, and global coordination between SEA and Korea HQ.

You will manage KPIs, budgeting, governance, and cross‑regional initiatives, partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, and HR to drive efficiency and measurable business outcomes.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, clear reporting, and delivering executive-level insights to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in IT project management, business process improvement, management planning, or a related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other related fields; MBA a plus but not required.
• Experience in IT system implementation; business requirement analysis and system design, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications.
• Experience in IT strategy and governance: ISP, system optimization, IT standards, IT cost and IT asset management
• Knowledge of Project management; PMP a plus
• Knowledge of ROI and benefit analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Client service driven with excellent relationship management skills
• Ability to engage with and present to all levels of management
• Ability to facilitate collaboration across geographies
• Team oriented, but able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Self‑directed and results‑oriented
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Korean is strongly recommended for communication with Korea HQ

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement - analyze, design, and document business process improvements; map as-is processes and gather requirements
• IT Investment & Cost Management - evaluate IT investments and manage annual IT costs
• IT System Analysis & Design - promote IT system innovations with monitoring and tuning
• Project Management - manage projects, validate architectures, track milestones and deliverables
• KPI & Performance Tracking - set up KPIs and provide regular performance reports to leadership
