Job summary

Lam Research in the Portland area seeks a Manager of Process Engineering to lead a global team in the DFBU Productivity organization. You’ll drive product performance, uptime, and process robustness across cross-functional projects.

You will mentor engineers, manage complex process and equipment challenges, and champion best practices across the portfolio to deliver reliable, high-quality results. This role is on-site in Tualatin, OR.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a master’s; or PhD with 5+ years.
• Experience with engineering product development processes/best practices.
• Design engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the global team and assist in the development of skills and hiring to meet objectives.
• Continuous improvement of engineering development and release processes.
• Work cross-functionally to develop problem statements and align requirements with stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional teams with diverse talents across US and India.
• Lead prioritization and coordination of engineering operations with a global workforce.
• Represent operational interests in corporate cross-functional teams.
• Create and communicate engineering standards and best-known methods.
• Capture and publish institutional knowledge across engineering communities.
• Organize engineering information for fast discovery using corporate tools.
