Job summary

Aero Alliance is seeking a Global Process Engineer to develop and deploy global standards that improve reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment and processes across its factories.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, apply lean methods such as DFSS, Kaizen, and FMEA, drive preventive maintenance programs, and coach site engineers to achieve One Product One Process. This role requires strong data analysis, problem solving, and influence in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality.
  • 5+ years in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in welding & heat treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics.
  • Project management skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes; define global process standards and equipment standards and deploy them across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders.
  • Define, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventive maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and technical & technology training.
  • Validate engineering specifications and shop-floor application of new processes, working with EHS, manufacturing engineers, engineering, quality, materials, industrialization, and sourcing.
  • Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications.
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA and root‑cause analysis (RCA).
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality processes.
  • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
