Job summary

Aero Alliance in Houston seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer to lead global standards for equipment and processes. You will partner with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader to drive reliability, availability, and performance across manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on data-driven process improvements, cost reduction through standardization, and coaching a dotted-line team of engineers while applying lean methodologies to achieve SQDC objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality.
  • 5+ years in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in machining processes and equipment (grinding, milling, turning, EDM).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader
  • Develop and deploy global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance’s manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Analyze data and work cross-functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes
  • Responsible for cost reduction through standardization of equipment and processes
  • Establish standards, ensuring adherence to these standards
  • Focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, new process introductions
  • Coach and influence a dotted-line organization, comprising factory manufacturing engineers
  • Leverage analytical skills, lean methodology to drive SQDC in line with business and functional objectives
  • Acquire strong technical knowledge and extensive exposure to manufacturing, engineering, quality, and safe process development
  • Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions
