Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Private Tax to provide cross-border personal and private tax advice and compliance for multi-jurisdictional families. You will lead tailored tax solutions for complex structures and collaborate with a global team across borders.

You’ll guide teams, manage projects, and drive performance in client service, risk management, and business growth, while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality tax insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with CPA or Bar certification; 5+ years in professional services or tax
• Understanding of estate/wealth planning and federal/state personal and trust income tax
• Experience with automated tax processing systems and ability to interpret complex issues

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of tailored tax advice and compliance solutions for complex family and business structures
• Support clients in wealth transfer, succession planning, and governance strategies
• Navigate cross-border and multi-jurisdictional tax matters with cross-functional teams
• Coach and develop professionals, guiding projects with accountability for performance and results
• Travel as needed to meet client needs and participate in client working sessions
• Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients
