Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
• 5+ years of relevant privacy experience in SaaS or tech.
• Strong knowledge of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA) and practical application.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and drive initiatives in a collaborative, outcome-oriented team.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams on data flows and system design.

Responsabilités

• Global Privacy Program Management: develop and maintain Toast's global privacy program across multiple regions.
• DPA Enablement: triage procurement queue and assess privacy risk against standard DPAs with predefined thresholds and LLMs.
• Privacy Rights: automate processing of privacy requests and develop SOPs for responses.
• Privacy Reviews: oversee automation to generate first-pass privacy assessments for attorneys to refine.
• Operational Compliance & Risk Mitigation: translate requirements into actionable processes and manage privacy risk registers.
• Training & Awareness & Data Governance: develop privacy training and support data classification lifecycle management.
• Metrics & Reporting: track KPIs and maintain privacy team Confluence page.
