Job summary

Trulioo is seeking a commercially minded Senior Director, Global Privacy & Data Protection to lead our global privacy strategy and data protection program. This role reports to the Chief Risk and Strategy Officer and acts as the designated Data Protection Officer for Europe, guiding GDPR compliance across products and operations.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in privacy and data protection, with deep experience across GDPR, US state laws, and Canadian privacy rules, and a proven ability

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, technology law, regulatory advisory, or related leadership roles.
• Extensive expertise in GDPR, US state privacy laws, and Canadian privacy laws.
• Experience as a senior privacy leader or DPO in a complex, global tech environment.
• Advising Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, and GTM teams on privacy by design and risk.
• PIAs, DPIAs, data mapping, data transfer mechanisms, DPAs, SCCs, vendor risk, retention and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy strategy and act as Data Protection Officer for Europe.
• Own privacy program operations, governance, and incident readiness.
• Advise on privacy in product, engineering, and commercial activities.
• Lead and develop a privacy team and foster cross-functional influence.
