Job summary

FTI Consulting in the United States is seeking a Senior Director of Data Privacy to lead privacy programs for clients within our Technology segment. You will advise, design, build, and support privacy initiatives, including risk analysis, data mapping, and compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and other global laws.

The role requires 8+ years of privacy program experience, strong stakeholder management, and ability to manage multiple long-term engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• 8+ years of post-graduate experience in data privacy program development, data minimization and solution design.
• 2+ years of post-graduate experience in privacy enabling technologies.
• 2+ years of consulting or similar experience in privacy program support and managing complex projects.
• Experience in client relationship development to include drafting proposals and assisting with go-to-market activities.
• This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver global data protection and privacy strategies to clients.
• Build cross-culture functionality for clients to operationalize global privacy programs.
• Develop and deliver privacy operation program plans for global corporate clients.
• Provide detailed level information to clients around HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, PIPL, GDPR, LGPD, PIPEDA among other laws.
• Manage/oversee implementation of data privacy compliance processes, risk management and control implementation efforts.
