Job summary

FICO is seeking a data scientist to design, develop, and deploy predictive models for international markets. You will work with large-scale credit and bureau data, building variables and evaluating models to support global scoring solutions.

You will apply machine learning and statistical techniques, validate models, and communicate insights to internal teams and clients across time zones. Occasional travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.
• Familiarity with consumer credit risk, fraud risk, or lending decisioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art predictive models for global markets.
• Analyze large-scale consumer credit and credit bureau datasets to support scoring solutions.
• Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation across multi-region projects.
• Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to improve model performance.
• Identify root causes and implement practical data-driven solutions to analytical issues.
• Prepare and deliver formal presentations of analytical work to stakeholders and clients.
• Manage analytical work streams across multiple projects and timelines.
