Job summary

Worley is seeking a Director of Supply Chain for Power in Houston to lead procurement and supply chain activities for a major capital project. You will align equipment, materials and third‑party services with project schedules, quality requirements and cost objectives.

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, construction and finance teams to drive supplier negotiations, AVL management and value optimization across all packages, mentoring teams and shaping best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive supply chain and procurement leadership experience supporting large capital projects within energy, power or data center sectors.
• Proven ability to develop and execute large-scale procurement strategies for complex engineering and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of major equipment procurement, long-lead materials, contracting and supplier management.
• Experience managing global supplier networks and vendor qualification processes.
• Proven capability to lead multi-disciplinary supply chain teams and manage complex procurement activities through others.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in supplier negotiations, contract structuring and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the Project Procurement Plan, identifying major equipment, materials and third-party services.
• Defining and executing procurement and contracting strategies that support project schedule, risk management and cost optimization.
• Establishing and maintaining an AVL aligned with project requirements.
• Overseeing RFQ preparation and issuance with clear technical and commercial specs.
• Leading the evaluation of supplier bids for best overall value.
• Preparing and presenting award recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensuring procurement delivery timelines align with construction and commissioning schedules.
• Driving cost control and value optimization across procurement packages.
• Leading supplier negotiations and contract finalization with equipment manufacturers and service providers.
• Managing third-party contract services including scope, terms and performance monitoring.
• Mentoring and developing supply chain teams across procurement, contracts, expediting, logistics and supplier management.
