Job summary

Worley Group, Inc is seeking a Manager, Project Procurement to lead procurement activities for complex projects in the energy sector. You will set strategies, manage teams, and coordinate with engineering, project management, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet budget, quality, and schedule targets.

You will supervise supplier performance, review technical documentation, and drive risk management, reporting progress and metrics to leadership. Strong commercial and technical judgment is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement for large projects in energy, chemicals, or resources.
• Strong commercial and technical judgment for complex procurement challenges.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, project management, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project procurement activities to align with scope, budget, quality, and schedules.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, plans, and priorities for projects.
• Provide technical guidance to procurement personnel and support team development.
• Partner with engineering, project management, construction, contracts, logistics, expediting, and quality teams.
• Oversee supplier performance, documentation, manufacturing schedules, and delivery commitments; mitigate risks.
• Resolve complex procurement issues using sound business judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
• Prepare, review, and communicate procurement reports, forecasts, schedules, and risks to leadership.
• Apply advanced knowledge of procurement systems, processes, tools, and controls for efficiency and improvement.
• Serve as procurement SME, providing guidance and solutions to project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Worley policies, project procedures, contractual requirements, and safety culture.
