Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead strategic procurement for complex capital projects in the energy sector. You will manage engineered and non-engineered materials, drive supplier selection, and balance cost, quality and schedule.

As a procurement leader, you will mentor teams, develop procurement strategies, and collaborate with engineering, construction and project controls to ensure value across the asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex procurement activities within engineering, energy, chemicals, resources, infrastructure, or major capital projects.
• Experience procuring engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment for multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience leading procurement workstreams, providing commercial guidance, and supporting cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement of engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment for complex capital projects.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and commercial priorities.
• Serve as lead buyer or subject matter expert for complex purchasing activities and lifecycle governance.
• Identify supply market opportunities and risks and develop practical solutions.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and proposals to balance value, quality and delivery.
• Mentor procurement professionals and collaborate with project teams.
