Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of global POS platform initiatives, from strategy and planning through engineering execution, deployment, and readiness. The role partners with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Payments, and Retail Operations to deliver scalable, secure POS capabilities across global markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading complex technical programs.
• Experience delivering enterprise POS, retail, or omnichannel platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, and payment ecosystems.
• Experience with engineering and architecture teams throughout the SDLC.
• Proven success leading global technical implementations from concept through production.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile and hybrid software delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of global POS modernization initiatives from planning through production deployment and post-launch stabilization.
• Define program scope, technical roadmap, milestones, and delivery strategy with Product Management and Engineering.
• Drive alignment across Architecture, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, QA, Operations, and stakeholders.
• Lead technical program planning including dependencies, release sequencing, and readiness.
• Coordinate API integrations, payment services, hardware integration, cloud services, and platform dependencies.
• Identify risks, architectural constraints, scalability concerns, and mitigations.
• Oversee governance across engineering teams and remove blockers.
• Oversee deployment planning, cutover activities, production readiness, and hypercare.
• Monitor program health with velocity, release quality, reliability, and KPIs.
• Ensure alignment with security, PCI, and operational standards.
• Manage vendor and implementation partner engagement.
