• Own end-to-end delivery of global POS modernization initiatives from planning through production deployment and post-launch stabilization.
• Define program scope, technical roadmap, milestones, and delivery strategy with Product Management and Engineering.
• Drive alignment across Architecture, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, QA, Operations, and stakeholders.
• Lead technical program planning including dependencies, release sequencing, and readiness.
• Coordinate API integrations, payment services, hardware integration, cloud services, and platform dependencies.
• Identify risks, architectural constraints, scalability concerns, and mitigations.
• Oversee governance across engineering teams and remove blockers.
• Oversee deployment planning, cutover activities, production readiness, and hypercare.
• Monitor program health with velocity, release quality, reliability, and KPIs.
• Ensure alignment with security, PCI, and operational standards.
• Manage vendor and implementation partner engagement.

This role will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Payments, and Retail Operations to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable POS capabilities across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of global POS modernization initiatives from planning through production deployment and post-launch stabilization.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to define program scope, technical roadmap, milestones, and delivery strategy.
• Drive alignment across Architecture, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Lead technical program planning including dependency management, release sequencing, and implementation readiness.
• Coordinate API integrations, payment services, hardware integration, cloud services, and enterprise platform dependencies.
• Identify technical risks, architectural constraints, scalability concerns, and mitigation strategies.
• Drive governance across multiple engineering teams while removing delivery blockers.
• Oversee global deployment planning, cutover activities, production readiness reviews, and hypercare support.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working directly with engineering and architecture teams throughout the SDLC.
• Demonstrated success leading global technical implementations from concept through production.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile and hybrid software delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Global POS deployment experience.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, payment processing, and retail operations.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
