Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) seeks an Associate Director, Global Policy Strategy Execution to shape and execute its global policy agenda. You will develop policy strategies, evidence-based positions, advocacy tools, and thought leadership content to support business priorities and credibility with external stakeholders.

The role collaborates across Global Policy, Government Affairs, and cross-functional partners to ensure priorities are well defined, supported, and executed.

Qualifications

• Approximately eight years of relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, health policy, external affairs, or a related field.
• Advanced degree in political science, law, economics, business, public policy, health policy, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven ability to implement policy strategies through advocacy materials, policy narratives, and briefing documents.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Global policy strategy and execution: lead development, coordination and execution of global policy strategies across regions and markets.
• Policy development, evidence, and advocacy tools: create policy proposals, positions, narratives, and toolkits with functional experts.
• Thought leadership and online policy platform: define editorial and policy strategy for the online platform and ensure high quality content.
• Facilitation of external policy executive advice for BMS leaders: provide strategic input and briefing materials for executive meetings.
• External engagement and partnership building: engage stakeholders in global forums and manage relationships with think tanks, trade associations, and policy bodies.
