Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a PMO Program Manager to unify nine SME roadmaps into a single, funded portfolio, with governance that spans finance, plants, and leadership. This role is hands-on and factory‑facing, prioritizing and executing initiatives across multiple sites.

The role requires deep experience in program governance, ROI-focused capital management, and strong collaboration with operators, schedulers, and plant leadership to drive tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification.
• 12+ years of progressive program or portfolio management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or capital-intensive operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain portfolio governance and decision rights across SMEs, plants, and finance.
• Consolidate and sequence the master technology and capital roadmap by factory and year.
• Own the stage-gate process from Identify to Sustain to operationalize the org’s deploy/scale philosophy.
• Consolidate capital plans and track ROI, budgets, and benefits realization across sites.
• Maintain modern digital PM tools for status, spend, schedule, and risk; lead RAID and risk resolution.
• Lead hands-on, Gemba-focused collaboration with factory personnel and finance on capital business cases.
