Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Business Operations Manager, internally named Customer Integrity & Threat Detection Manager, to detect, disrupt and investigate potential misuse of the Starlink service while balancing customer privacy. You will identify risks, design solutions, deploy them with stakeholders, and present findings across teams.

Requirements include 6+ years in global affairs or investigations, strong data skills (SQL, Python, ArcGIS, R), and a proven track record of reducing illicit activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 12+ years' experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations.
• 6+ years using SQL, Python, ArcGIS, or R for data analysis.
• 6+ years investigating illicit operators (fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or similar).
• 3+ years improving processes or technology to boost customer integrity.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks.
• Design and deploy solutions to priority risks with stakeholders.
• Represent the team in cross-functional groups and expertise areas.
• Establish expertise in two or more investigative techniques or tools.
• Reactively investigate scams, fraud, and illicit activities.
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations.
• Ensure actions respect customer privacy while targeting real harm.
