Job summary

OK International, a Dover Corporation company, seeks a Plastics Project Engineer to drive long-term supplier development, selection, tool lifecycle management and risk mitigation for plastic injection molded components. You will lead cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure supply chain resilience and seamless new product introductions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding process, tooling development, project management and cost savings strategies in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Direct involvement in qualifying tooling during the molding processes.
• Experience working with multi-cavity hot runner/cold runner tooling operating in 100 - 400 ton plastic injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

• Architect 3-year plastics tooling roadmap for long-term resilience and optimization.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQ evaluations, and regular supplier audits for quality.
• Formulate CapEx justifications, ROI models and business cases for tooling investments.
• Drive cost optimization through standardization and best practices across global supplier network.
• Develop and maintain plastic supplier qualification processes with periodic audits.
• Communicate action plans to leadership and drive program execution.
• Oversee tooling transfers and NPIs with internal and external sites.
