Job summary

Dover Corporation’s OK International division in Cypress, CA seeks a Plastics Project Engineer to drive long-term supplier development, tool qualification, and CapEx strategies for critical plastic injection molded components. You will lead complex tool-qualification projects from concept to production, aligning supplier capabilities with growth and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding process, tooling development, project management and cost savings strategies in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Direct involvement in qualifying tooling during the molding processes.
• Experience working with multi-cavity hot runner/cold runner tooling operating in 100 - 400 ton plastic injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership in supplier selection and CapEx management for tooling.
• Architect multi-year plastics tooling roadmaps aligning with global supply chain resilience.
• Lead tooling transfers and NPIs across internal and external sites; standardize governance.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with global injection molding suppliers; drive continuous improvement.
• Perform supplier audits and risk mitigation to ensure quality and compliance.
