Job summary

ZEISS in Dublin, OH is seeking a Senior Manager, Planning & Procurement to lead global planning, procurement and inventory across multiple sites. You will drive S&OP, MPS, and supplier management, ensuring material availability and cost efficiency while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Finance and Product Management.

You will build a high‑performing team of planners and buyers, deliver KPI targets, lead ERP/SAP enhancements, and guide NPI readiness and product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain, engineering, business or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred for senior leadership.
• 10+ years progressive experience in planning, procurement, supply chain or operations leadership.
• 5+ years leading managers, planning teams, and procurement organizations.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and global supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Set global planning and procurement strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead demand, supply, capacity, and inventory planning across sites.
• Deliver material cost savings and improve profitability.
• Ensure supply continuity and resilience of the global supply chain.
• Drive S&OP processes and manage MPS and long-range capacity planning.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and performance reviews.
• Establish inventory strategies balancing service levels and working capital.
• Support NPI readiness and product launches with supply readiness.
