Corning Incorporated seeks a Global Planning Manager to develop and execute global supply chain strategies, aligning capacity, demand, and supply across regions while ensuring exceptional service. You will lead Product Line Planners, manage customer relationships, and drive improvements with manufacturing and suppliers to optimize operations.

The role requires leading regional teams, strong communication, and a track record in capacity planning, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in supply chain planning, global operations and team management.
• Proven track record in capacity planning, forecasting, and optimization.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar planning systems.
• Ability to mentor teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of global capacity and demand plans (SIOP).
• Manage Product Line Planners and align product planning with global strategy.
• Collaborate with key customers to understand demand and forecast consensus.
• Define and drive global replenishment strategies and manage product transitions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and operations to ensure flexible capacity and contingency plans.
• Drive global supply chain initiatives for optimization and risk mitigation.
• Set and monitor global KPIs for supply chain performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams on improvement projects.
