Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or business required.
• MBA or advanced STEM degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant sales forecasting or market analytics experience within pharma, biotech, or life sciences.
• Experience building forecast models and conducting analyses for decision support.
• Ability to influence decision making in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with significant Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy (PCS) leads to provide a data-driven perspective on asset value.
• Lead and coordinate forecasting efforts for assigned assets.
• Plan and support market insights activities to inform forecasting, in collaboration with Marketing Analytics & Business Insights (MABI).
• Develop and maintain forecast models to inform long-range planning, milestone decisions, strategic planning, and business development opportunities.
• Lead the design and implementation of model enhancements and new forecasting approaches as needed.
• Provide real-time decision support through close collaboration with PCS stakeholders and cross-functional partners across AbbVie.
