Job summary

Uniphar, a global pharma services partner, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate the end-to-end movement of pharmaceutical products from our Garner, NC facility. You will ensure timely, compliant deliveries across domestic and international networks, while maintaining GDP/GMP standards and collaborating with QA, warehouse, and procurement teams.

The role requires five years of shipping/warehouse experience, HazMat knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Five years or more experience in shipping, warehouse operations, transportation, and product distribution and coordination.
• Warehousing and freight forwarding knowledge (standard shipping practices, Incoterms, etc.).
• HazMat certified
• International shipping experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail; organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely, secure, and compliant delivery to customers and sites.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor transportation of controlled drugs, temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, and hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
• Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate cold chain logistics with validated shipping methods and data loggers.
• Manage shipments of controlled substances with licensing, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and regulatory records.
• Collaborate with QA, Warehouse, Procurement, and Sales to ensure compliant distribution.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, issues, and temperature excursions.
