Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field execution on large-scale capital programs, directing a team of 3–5 and coordinating with program leadership. The role requires delivering safety, cost, and schedule objectives across Brownfield and Greenfield sites.

Responsibilities include interfacing with project teams, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory frameworks. International travel and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering capital projects in industrial/manufacturing facilities, including supervision of programs >$100M.
• Experience overseeing multiple construction contractors or CM firms simultaneously.
• Willingness to relocate and/or travel to project locations outside home state/country.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field construction from detailed design through mechanical completion, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between field teams and program leadership; communicate with governance bodies and site stakeholders.
• Lead with compliance to company policies, GMP where applicable, and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for all construction scopes.
