Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking a senior leader to drive large-scale capital programs in manufacturing facilities. You will manage field teams, coordinate with program leadership, ensure safety, and oversee budgets and schedules across greenfield and brownfield projects.

The role requires a PE/CCM or equivalent certification, strong leadership, and 15–30% travel with relocation to project sites as needed. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in capital project construction delivery in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Lilly employees and contract construction leaders for large-scale capital programs of at least $200M.
• Oversee field construction execution from detailed design through mechanical completion, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Resolve disputes in partnership with legal, procurement, and other parties as needed.
• Own the field execution budget and capital spend, including cost forecasting and changes.
• Maintain primary communication between field teams and program leadership, and ensure safe, high-quality construction work.
• Lead with compliance to company policies, GMP requirements where applicable, and regulatory frameworks.
