Job summary

GitLab is seeking a seasoned leader to head Global People Operations and Compliance, delivering scalable, tech-enabled experiences for a worldwide workforce. You will set multi-year visions for AI, standardize workflows, and drive improvements across onboarding, data management, and off-boarding while partnering with legal, finance, and talent teams.

You will manage a global team, design operating models with SLAs, and ensure compliance across regions, including mobility and employment

Qualifications

10+ years of HR/People Operations experience, including 5+ years leading global teams.
Experience building and scaling people operations in multi-regional organizations.
Knowledge of global employment compliance and employee representation bodies.
Ability to translate a long-term vision into actionable roadmaps and improve processes via AI/automation.

Responsibilities

Lead Global People Operations and Compliance to deliver scalable, tech-enabled experiences.
Define multi-year roadmap for AI-enabled People Ops initiatives.
Standardize and automate onboarding, data management, off-boarding, and related processes.
Partner with Compensation, Legal, Procurement, and Talent teams to drive strategic priorities.
Oversee case management platform from intake to resolution with clear SLAs.
